Editing a product

The unsaved-changes bar

Editing any field on a product page — title, price, condition, and so on — puts the page into an unsaved state. A bar appears letting you save or discard the change. Until you save, the edit exists only in the form; nothing is written to the product yet.

Actions that ask you to save first

A few actions work from the product’s saved copy, not whatever is currently in the form. If you try one of these while you have unsaved edits, CellerHub stops and asks Save your changes first, with the choice to Save and continue or Cancel:

• List on channel
• Duplicate
• Publishing a specific row from the product’s Listings tab

This exists so that publishing or duplicating a product never silently uses an older version of it than the one you’re looking at.

Relisting from the listing detail view is not gated this way — it reads and writes independently of whatever you’re editing on the product page.
