Tags
Settings → Tags lists every tag used on your products, with the number of products carrying each one, and lets you rename, merge or delete a tag catalogue-wide.
Tags themselves are added on the product form, or in bulk from the Products page — this page is only for editing the vocabulary itself, not for tagging individual products.
Renaming a tag
Section titled “Renaming a tag”Click the pencil icon next to a tag, type the new name, and confirm. Matching ignores case, so a rename catches every spelling of the tag you have used.
If you rename a tag to the name of a tag that already exists, the two are merged — every product carrying either one ends up with a single tag.
Merging a tag
Section titled “Merging a tag”Click the merge icon next to a tag, choose another existing tag from the list, and confirm. This is the same action as a rename, just started from a dropdown of your other tags instead of a text box — useful when you know which tag you want to fold into but not its exact spelling.
Deleting a tag
Section titled “Deleting a tag”Click the trash icon next to a tag and confirm. The products themselves are not touched — only the tag comes off them.
Before you confirm
Section titled “Before you confirm”Every rename, merge or delete shows a preview first: how many products will change, and how many of those have a listing live on Mercari that will be updated there on the next sync. Nothing is written until you confirm.
