Adding photos

On a product’s Photos tab, click Add photos. You can select more than one photo at once from the file picker.

Order, rotate, and remove

• The first photo is the one every channel shows as the thumbnail. Drag a photo to reorder it, or use the arrows.
• Each photo has a rotate control if it uploaded sideways.
• Removing a photo asks you to confirm first.

What reaches the channels

Every photo you upload is straightened and re-encoded automatically, once, at upload time:

• A photo taken sideways on a phone is turned the right way up before it’s stored, so it can’t go out sideways on eBay or Mercari even though some marketplace galleries ignore the orientation data a phone’s camera writes.
• Photos are re-encoded as JPEG and shrunk to fit within a maximum edge size, so a very large phone photo doesn’t upload as an oversized file.

Per-channel overrides

By default, cross-listing to a channel uses the same photo set shown here. If a channel needs a different set of photos — a different crop or a different order — you can set a channel photo override underneath the main photo grid; the button to go back to the shared set is Use default photos.
