Shipping & labels

Settings → Shipping & labels (shown as Shipping on a phone) is where a label comes from when you ship an order, and what size it prints at.

Label providers

Five providers are listed, each as its own card, because they aren’t five of the same thing:

Mercari	Marketplace label	Nothing to set up — Mercari issues its own label when a sale goes through, and nothing is bought here.
Shippo	Buys labels	An API key, from Shippo → Settings → API. A test key starts shippo_test_; there’s a Test mode checkbox for it.
EasyPost	Buys labels	An API key, from EasyPost → API Keys. A test key starts EZTK, a production key starts EZAK; there’s a Test mode checkbox for it.
Pirate Ship	CSV round trip	No credentials. Export your orders from the ship dialog, buy the labels at Pirate Ship yourself, then bring their tracking CSV back in with Import tracking on this page (or the Orders page).
eBay labels	Buys labels	Marked Coming soon — not built yet.

A key you enter is never shown back to you — the page only shows the last few characters of what’s stored, so replacing a key means typing a new one, not editing the old one. Click Replace key to do that. A Forget key button removes a stored key entirely.

Default for

Under each configured provider, tick which of your connected channels should use it by default. One channel can only have one default provider — ticking it here for a channel unticks it everywhere else that channel appeared.

Label size

Choose 4 × 6 (thermal) or Letter. This is remembered on this device only (like Appearance), so a packing bench with a thermal printer and a laptop upstairs can print at different sizes. 4 × 6 is the default.
