EasyPost

EasyPost quotes USPS, UPS and FedEx rates for a parcel and buys the label you pick, the same way Shippo does — with one important difference.

Domestic shipments only

EasyPost does not currently support international shipments through CellerHub. An international order will be refused before any rate is even requested, rather than failing partway through a purchase. Use Shippo or Pirate Ship for an order shipping outside the US.

EasyPost also checks that a shipment’s information is complete before it will quote a rate at all, rather than quoting first and refusing at purchase.

Setting it up

1. Go to Settings → Shipping & labels.
2. Under EasyPost, paste your API key. Get it from EasyPost under API Keys — a test key starts EZTK, a production key EZAK.
3. Optionally turn on EasyPost’s test mode with the toggle next to the key.
4. Choose which channels EasyPost should be the default for.

A saved key is never shown back to you in full, only its last few characters — pasting a new key replaces the old one, and leaving the field blank keeps what’s already saved.

Buying a label

Open the ship dialog for a domestic order. EasyPost quotes rates for the parcel and shows them as a Service you can pick, with the cheapest already selected.
