Listing setup

Settings → Listing setup is where everything that decides what a published listing says lives, in the order you meet it.

What a first publish needs

At the top of the page is a checklist of everything a channel needs before it will let a listing go live — for example eBay’s shipping terms, return terms, and a ship-from address. Each item shows a badge:

• Ready — answered.
• Needs you — not answered yet.

Every item, answered or not, opens the same form you’d use to fix it — so this checklist doubles as a quick way to review or change terms you’ve already set, not just a list of what’s missing. If you have more than one channel account connected, each item is labelled with the channel it belongs to.

This is the same checklist behind the “Ready to sell” prompts you see elsewhere in the app (for example, right after connecting eBay — see Connect eBay).

A recipe is the thing that actually gets applied when you publish or cross-list a product — see Templates and recipes for how recipes and templates fit together.

Listing templates

The individual building blocks a recipe is made of — category, payment & return terms, title & description pattern, shipping terms, pricing rule, and package/weight profile. See Templates and recipes for what each type does.

Price exclusions

Underneath the templates is a set of words you can exclude from price suggestions — a catalogue-wide default, so it applies everywhere a price is estimated rather than being set per product. See Words left out of estimates.
