How sync works
CellerHub keeps your stock and prices lined up across every channel you’ve connected, without you doing anything, by syncing on a schedule.

What a sync does
Section titled “What a sync does”Each sync checks, for every connected channel:
- Inventory — pushes your current stock out to the channel.
- Prices — pushes any price changes, including a price ladder step (see The price ladder).
- Listings — pulls in anything new or changed on the channel side.
- Orders — pulls in new sales.
- Categories — resolves categories a listing is still missing.
How often it runs
Section titled “How often it runs”Syncing runs automatically in the background — by default, every 15 minutes. Exactly how often depends on how your installation is configured. You can also trigger a sync yourself rather than waiting for the next scheduled run.
Guarantees you can rely on
Section titled “Guarantees you can rely on”- Only one sync runs for your account at a time. A second sync never starts while one is still in progress, so two syncs can never push conflicting quantities to the same channel.
- One channel’s problem doesn’t touch another. If a channel rejects a push — a listing eBay won’t accept, say — that listing is marked with an error and the reason is shown on it. Every other channel keeps syncing normally.
- Importing an order never double-counts it. Each order is matched to the specific sale it came from, so if a sync runs twice, or the same order shows up again, your stock is only ever deducted once for it.
- Stock never goes negative. If two channels both think they’ve sold your last one, the second deduction is clamped at zero rather than going negative.
