When a channel refuses
Preflight catches most gaps before you publish, but a channel can still refuse for reasons outside a single product — usually something about the channel account itself.
Missing shipping or return terms
Section titled “Missing shipping or return terms”Fill these in from Connect eBay → “Your eBay terms,” or from Settings → Listing setup. CellerHub never invents these for you, so a channel with no terms set stays unable to publish until you add them.
An incomplete ship-from address
Section titled “An incomplete ship-from address”Set a complete address for your default warehouse in Settings → Warehouses. An address with any field left blank is treated the same as no address at all.
“eBay business policies” pending
Section titled ““eBay business policies” pending”eBay requires your account to be opted into its Selling Policy Management program before it will accept business policies for shipping, payment, and returns. CellerHub opts your account in automatically the first time this is needed, but eBay’s own processing can take up to 24 hours. See eBay business policies pending.
Reconnecting eBay for a missing permission
Section titled “Reconnecting eBay for a missing permission”If the refusal is about a missing permission rather than a pending opt-in, your eBay connection may need to be refreshed so it carries the permission CellerHub now needs. See Reconnecting a channel.
Mercari needs a first listing made on Mercari
Section titled “Mercari needs a first listing made on Mercari”Mercari has no seller API, so CellerHub’s Mercari agent copies its shipping choices from an existing Mercari listing — it can’t invent them. Make your first listing directly on Mercari before cross-listing to it through CellerHub. See Connect Mercari.
Still refusing
Section titled “Still refusing”If a listing keeps failing for a reason not covered here, its error message is shown on the listing itself — see A listing shows an error, or contact support.
