Orders and statuses
CellerHub pulls orders in from every connected channel on each sync and keeps one list of them, whatever marketplace they came from.
Statuses
Section titled “Statuses”An order is always one of:
- Pending — placed, not yet paid.
- Paid — paid, not yet shipped. This and Pending are the only statuses that can still be shipped or cancelled.
- Shipped — a tracking number or a marketplace confirmation has gone out.
- Delivered — the carrier has confirmed delivery.
- Cancelled — cancelled before it shipped.
- Refunded — money returned to the buyer.
Only Pending and Paid orders can be cancelled, and packing slips and pick lists only cover Pending and Paid orders too — once an order has shipped, delivered, cancelled, or refunded, those actions no longer apply to it.
Where an order’s identifier comes from
Section titled “Where an order’s identifier comes from”eBay gives every order a seller-facing order number (for example
14-15037-57809), so that’s what CellerHub shows for an eBay order.
Mercari has no orders section and no order number of its own — a sale there is just a state of the listing. CellerHub shows the item instead (its listing id and title, linked to the item page on Mercari), since that’s what you can actually look up in Mercari’s own interface or in a message from a buyer.
Repeated imports never double-count a sale
Section titled “Repeated imports never double-count a sale”Each order is matched to the channel account and the channel’s own order id it came from, so polling the same order again — on the next sync, or after a manual sync — never deducts stock for it twice.
Orders from before you connected a channel
Section titled “Orders from before you connected a channel”Connecting a channel backfills 30 days of order history. See Your first sync for exactly which of those orders move stock and which don’t.
