Out of stock and low stock
The Products page has two filter buttons for stock that needs attention: Running low and Out of stock. Turning one on turns the other off, since a product can’t be both at once.
Out of stock
Section titled “Out of stock”Out of stock shows products with nothing left to sell — stock at or below zero once reservations for open orders are taken off.
Running low
Section titled “Running low”Running low shows products at or below their low-stock threshold.
There are two levels of threshold:
- Account default — set once, in Settings, and applied to every product that doesn’t have its own threshold.
- Per-product — set on the product’s own page, under Low stock alert at on its inventory section. Leave it blank to use the account default instead.
If no account default is set and a product has no threshold of its own, low-stock alerts are off for that product — the “Running low” filter won’t match it until you set a number somewhere.
